They will become broke in no time. No country can sustain this. Not even a private economy. Soon or later the well will run dry.

They are risking everything the have done. Look at Ghana, Greece etc. Israel once got in to this trap.

There is no value added for Uhuru's trips to Dubai to meet his mistress.

Public debt and its cost is the REAL cost of corruption. Now they are inflating the cost of public debt and siphoning funds. Lord have mercy on the cursed Negro

The man who led Singapore to what it is today was ruthless when it came to corruption. Everyone knew not to step in his shoes. Kenyatta will never be one of such. He is more interested in leadership and ICC than bringing the country into a middle class status. Look at Kilimani primary school. Never been updated since independence.  Build schools first before laptops.

That is what baffles me. He fought and won against the ICC. Yet he just won't let the matter go. Leadership requires compromise. Think of what he would gain in stature if he publicly abjured bitterness and embraced the ICC by repudiating the hostile stance of the AU. He can't keep claiming the court is unfair when the court discharged him! There are others who have been tried and acquitted!

Uhuru is about keeping power. Not even for himself but for the Family and tribe.

So why were they paying it through NYS?
Or even worse they paid the individulas who in turn paid govt. creditors? Or these Nutahis et al was one of the creditors

I think you're mixing issues or corruptions scandals which are a dime a dozen and therefore had to track. This was about CBK paying 54B debts which Budget Controller query. Dr Thuge of Treasury has explained they uses 54B to retire the syndicate loan arranged by i think StanChart that gov borrowed to pay for stuff including expensive gadgets for IEBC.

She is talking of her personal relationship with the Treasury etc. This is a Constitutional role. There has been a violation and that has to have consequences if one wants to stop it from recurring. Civil Society is no longer active to take it up and cause somebody to pay for the lapse. It was just as easy to seek the authority before fact as they have done after fact. Is it laziness or impunity? What motivated them to hush it up?

Budget controller closes the file.

Maybe an oversight. Money was not lost. In the future Treasury should have alerted Budget Controller regardless.

Try the same ploy in the US or UK and watch how many years you spend in the Concrete Rooms answering questions while nobody wants to be seen near you.
