That is right. 2B dollars is lots of cash. Our tourism is now bringing in anything less than 0.5M. Tazania and even Ethiopia are the winners..previously it was RSA.

And we wen't to war to save tourisms.

One thing Kibaki and the guys leading Kenya today do not get it right is, when you invade a country always have a pull out plan. Somalia will not be safer place in the next 20 years. With or without KDF. Our guys should have hunted those guys who kidnapped the tourists in 2012 and then pulled out immediately. Now we have an army at war in a foreign country and the war is brought to us.
South Coast is completely dead. Not even one tourist on the beach.

The tourism sector themselves should be call for the end of war...and so should kenyans...but they been sucked into what now is ethnic-religious war against somalis and muslims. I wonder which other industry will go down next.

I can help you there with no effort: The Transport Sector. From the buses and matatus to the oil pipeline and air lines. Kenya lacks the capacity to protect the transport industry from terrorists. Not with the bribes. They are already close to destroying Education.

MMm..KQ (air transport) is definitely gone...their fortunes are linked with number of tourist coming here.
