At this point - Opus dei is useless.
That girl will handle other business.
I expect Samburu Dr Sirima to get the job - first Samburu Central Bank governor.

Also Deputy Gov Mbijjiwe is going home - so there is another position for any good luhya out there :)

CBK has opened interbank forex trading. So going forward dollars will be more readily available and the true value of ksh vs dollar will be determined by the market. CBK has squashed  Parallel exchange rates https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/USDKES:CUR#xj4y7vzkg .

Why did it take them so long to figure this out?

Someone interfered with CBK mandate and tried to pull a goldenburg.
Rogue bankster cannot be punished when main rogue NCBA is owned by the president.

unintended consequences of running a managed exchange rate without enough forex reserve. Parallel exchange develops and forex shortage due to hoarding. Its analogous to capping of interest rates which resulted in slowing of credit growth and shaylock rates for bank mobile loans.
