I think that's why we need independent institutions which cannot be manipulated.Such officers should be in for life.

If this regime dont take action - it will become a policy. They definitely tortured them - found the money - killed them. Then shared the money - and left a million for exhibit.

They are worse than criminals - whose crime was stealing. They've committed cold blood murder.

IPOA is independent enough - they should swing into action.

Killed them for the money, the worst thugs in Kenya are in uniform. My brother visited Kenya last year, he tried to pose in front of that Dedan Kimathi statue and a cop run up to him and accused him of leaning on it which is apparently prohibited. Long story short, he threatened to take him to jail, his flight to Mombasa was in like 2hrs so to avoid the inconvenience, he coughed 5K. The cop made 5k in a matter of minutes for absolutely no work, as long as this police culture persists in Kenya, the country will always be a shithole.

Agreed. Its going to be tough but remember in US your brother would have been  killed by cops for being black.Police must be humanised by taking them back to their community.Action must be taken until its become a detterent

Once they realise you have an accent they dont bother with .
Kenyans during rugby a rowdy and all even this year there were fights didnt see any cops .
But walk through the hoods cops will always be everywhere with snitches however when they realise you are an african they dont bother they are after blacks who they pretty know have records so its an easy win for them .

It important to pair white with black policemen if they are in black neighberhood. If racism is a problem - that probably only way out - have black policemen working with whites.
Again that is why police must reflect community. Police are like politician - too powerful -  should be policing their own families and friends - they will have more compassion that way.

Fair and balanced is correct.  Racism in the US is exaggerated by news outlets like CNN.  So, kenyans, who are glued to CNN, think that the US is a cess pool of racist white cops shooting black people and it's really not.

I have found most cops to be well trained and professional, but many of these guys with criminal records, with drugs on them, try to get away and run and that's when things get messy.  Why don't these black americans understand that they will have their day in court to explain their case? Don't run away from cops or try to fight.  Go in and you will have your day in court and be provided with a FREE lawyer/public defender.

Never compare Kenya to the US.

Most of these black americans get records when they are in their teens . The system is designed yo victimize them . Jails and prisons is big business in the U.S. just like arms sale.
So the system has created Ghettos where its very easy to catch cases . These kids go to juvenile for small fights or for conspiracy thats the begining of having records they become hardcore inside juvenile and prisons and once they come out they have graduated to be criminals and they start recruiting minors to their gangs and the cycle continues . When the become young adults they commit crimes which send them for lengthy times thus taxpayer money is used to feed and house them and fund dubious programs good money for prison complex.

Environment matters and the ghettos are the breeding and training grounds for the blacks to become criminals . The system has really made it hard for them to move out of the hood why ? Systemic racism where its hard for a black to get a house lease seondly the criminal records ,with criminal records its almost impossible to get a house lease leave alone a job . What do they turn too to survive , criminality .

Its easier to claim blacks are criminals but the truth is the system is designed to be like that .
How do you explain the rule that you can only enroll your child to a school within your region meaning if you live a ghetto the child will associate with children from the ghetto whose relatives have been turned to criminals by the system .

How do you explain the 80s when crack was poured in the hoods and the teenage drug dealers would get 40 years plus when in possession of crack and the whites would be taken to rehab when in possession of cocaine .

One cop can ruin a whole neighborhood station, while 20 thugs can ruin a city neighbohood of 5k. Crime is exagerated by Fox News and dismissed by a few politicians like former Chicago mayor. Has to be a balance.

This is easy peasy. Start with those rogue police who 'lost' their guns to the duo.

Public officials know they will get away with these outrageous statements. Add a spice of kawaida dishonesty and it makes no sense to ask some questions to public officials.
