Russia initially benefited from oil boom - but now with oil sanctions - is selling at a loss - many western companies have left - Europe has disconnected from Russia - therefore it's now at mercy of China and India. Soon Eu & US will give ultimatum to China..choose US or Russia..finished. Chinese will not abandon western for russia. Leave alone the indians who are already crying...about western pressure.

 When one uses coercion to get small countries to support it, that is not sustainable for its future.  Ambassadors have been threatened with having their spouses visas canceled or their children barred from American colleges.  European economies starting with Germany are in distress while the Russian economy only contracted 2% in war time.  We had to go really dirty by blowing nord stream pipes just to keep Germany from abandoning our suicide pact.
