Samuel Imeta challenges Omanyala
« on: February 26, 2023, 12:32:45 AM »
Omanyala has a challenger closer to home.  Samuel Imeta(he is in the army) just clocked his first sub-10, and is 2 years younger than Omanyala.  That means he is the youngest Kenyan to clock sub-10.  Granted, it is all Omanyala's influence.  People develop confidence about their ability when they see someone up close doing it.

The world's sprints is is jam-packed with crazy talent this year.  With Fred Kerley, Noah Lyles, Trayvon Bromell, Christian Coleman, Omanyala, Oblique Seville - all capable of dipping under 9.8 - , the sprints have not looked this competitive in a long time.
