It is not corruption fighting back, it is they themselves want a piece of the pie. Cases will go no where just like at the beginning of Kibaki era as Moi's men were paraded to court and not even one single one was convicted.
Thieves cannot prosecute fellow thieves. The temptation to share the spoils is too high.

He will do nothing and even if he does..corruption will fight back.

What is Ruto doing for the economy? Things are bleak and people are dying, Kenyans would care less about his personal wars.

Ruto is capable of scaling the stairs and chewing gum. Relax. The foundation is being laid.  The most brilliant folks are busy at work.

Lawyers will bankrupt them. That good thing. As long as they are busy in court corridors - they wont be stealing. Soon lawyers will sell everything they own. If the case is 200M - lawyer by default will want 20M - it doesnt matter if they have it or not.

Jameni Kenyans my age will die without seeing a big fish roting in jail in their lifetime? I am disappointed that Azimio trying to defend the trio. Washulikiwe na "independent bodies". Is it not Martha who said they would be zero tolerance if they formed govt? You mean Azimio were lying all along and would not have called up this despicable trio to account? Bure kabisa. I don't care if KK shields their own, it must sink into Kenyans that whichever political divide you belong, just make sure that the stuff you do is constitutional and above board. There is no statute of limitation, chances are law enforcement will go after you one day. Shame on you Laila!

People need to read the articles properly on this issue before commenting.
Atwoli took Jirongo to court some years back because of 100M Ksh Atwoli lent Jirongo. The court declared the debt legal and Jirongo was to pay back Atwoli 110M. Jirongo now partly paid back the amount. Case closed.

Yes Atwoli has a strong case. Murathe has to explain where and how he loan Jirongo. If he used his political influence to irregular get Jirongo paid and took his cut. Then shida.

For Atwoli if the money is shown to be irregular - he need to refund the gov plus interest - then follow Jirongo.

Murathe ndani ya jela.
