Raila is trying to capitalize in his good reputation to introduce fraudulent evidence. The issue was he set up or he is aware. He could be naively setup or he could be part of this criminality.
What is obvious this could destroy him and his reputation - and the by extension the civil society.
I wouldnt blame him - entire Raila evidence is built on fraud - and they are not done. What they presented as original FORM 34A - are poorly photoshopped online forms 34A.
In 2017 they managed to get away murder because they went to IEBC and planted fake forms - and when SCORK ordered an audit - IEBC were suprised to find unsigned forms, forms without security - ODM had bought security and sneaked in forms.
This time round everyone is ready for them.
To save his reputation - he should immediately write to AZIMIo and withdraw his affidavit having learnt the logs are poor edited 2017 logs - that before IEBC and Ruto tear him apart - and they will.
Why would Githongo risk his reputation for Raila like this? I remember Michela Wrong wrote about him in her book. He showed up in her apartment in London after escaping from Kenya and had all sorts of evidence with him. She then encouraged him to use that evidence to write a book and she said all he did in London was procrastinate, procrastinate, procrastinate. It would take him hours to just complete even half a paragraph cause he'd mull over every word. Eventually, she realized the book would never get written and she took his evidence and wrote the book, which turned out to be a very good book. Githongo then returned to Kenya having never written anything.
