Even when someone loots the Kenyan treasury and makes many Kenyans desperate, Kenyans still vote for them, if they're from the same tribe. Some will even devote endless hours right here on this forum, farting day and night, about how some of these same thieves would make great presidents for Kenya. Be careful: They might run here and start pounding their chests (gorilla style), shouting ati "I'm a proud member of this or that tribe!" They will even threaten dire consequences for your tribe if you do not vote for their tribal hero. It will start with your cow getting stolen then it will get worse. This is serious stuff. Be warned!

With very little opportunity at home, many see working in Arab countries as a ticket out of poverty in a country where about 40% of the population lives below the poverty line.

Spot on. It is even sadder that he was advocating for the maid/neo Arab slave trade as solution for the unemployment problem. Bomet was talking about exporting tea to Iran. Avoid Arabs & Persians like the plague, deeply racist anti black people. Iran is also under sanctions from the US so it is not good idea.
