20 year anniversary of 9/11
« on: September 12, 2021, 02:54:29 AM »
The only kenyan to die at world trade center attack was a brilliant guy who was had gone early to office to prepare for software launch that his company had developed. He was son of Christine Mbaya who is was the wife of late mp from Meru Mbaya.  Time goes by fast, I always wonder how Christine MBAYA is doing, she is an African American that got married to a kenyan and stayed on even after she lost her husband. She was at the time a lecturer at uon and Wangari Maathai mentioned her in her book as a key supporter of her and founder member of greenbelt movement.

I use to see her in Chiromo - with old VW bettle. She was teaching one of those science or maths courses...
