I understand corruption falls under economic crime is there an implication on political standing as in not be able to vie?
-
No.The difference is the threshold. To be unable to vie, someone has to have been FOUND guilty and has exhausted all appeals and reviews. To work for gov as public or civil servant...i think it enough for one to be suspect and be suspended.
-
When you say the threshold, some say ICC threshold is higher than those corrupt, Uhuru on the otherside says ICC is different from those mention in corruption!
-
The good Prof Kindiki argues the "crimes" against humanity at the ICC are not criminal.
So what are they if not criminal?
Uhuru's stance of chapter 6 has now come to haunt him.

Uhuru and company are playing politics by trying to rope in governors and mps in this fight..while they clearly know they enjoy the same privelleges..they enjoyed when facing ICC charges.
Elected officials enjoy protection from Chapter six...until found guilty beyond appeal.
It very shameful. This is Mpeketoni 2.
