Raila need to give direction on Thursday peaceful maandamano. Tukutane Spectre ama Northlands or Naivasha heading towards Nakuru. I hear mama Ngina is busy pleading and kneeling before Gachagua aka mtoto wa mau mau...
Ruto's losing this battle at the moment.
He should've anticipated protests are a natural course of democracy and taken measures to meet the demands of the opposition. RAO certainly gave him plenty of time to prepare.
The opposition have obviously taken hold of the media and the nation. Going by this trajectory things don't look good for Kenya.
Veritas,
He has half nation although only Luos are willing to protest
He definitely has the mass media.
He lacks international leverage that can put pressure on Ruto. Kenya economy on it's deathbed - wont have survived IMF/WB pressure - but Ruto owns that space.
He also lack religious society- Ruto owns the faith based sector -who'd put pressure for talks.
Civil society is dead if not fractured - and don't his cause - this linked to again international leverage/donors.
He also lack empathy from judiciary.
Definitely security forces works for whoever is in power.
Violence card has backfired - as they are now afraid that Ruto gov will supervise destruction of their wealth.
Ruto has also cannabalize opposition - he is now left with 10 mps.
In short Raila has to throw in the towel!!
It is OVER.Ruto's losing this battle at the moment.

Raila lost the elections but they are a legit opposition who have every right to protest. Protesting is a strategy to ensure peace in Kenya so it doesn't escalate to machetes and butchering. Raila is doing Ruto a favour by even bothering to protest to keep the peace in Kenya. Now it's Ruto's turn to handle the situation by extending an olive branch and that should be the end of it.
Raila betrayed everyone in 2017 for him to think people will stick their neck so he can negotiate for himself and his family he is mistaken. Raila plan is to sabotage the economy and make kenya kwanza fail but this time he miscalculated. He will cause alot of misery to his people. Wait till this maanadamano move to Naivasha, Nakuru and Eldoret..
Tomorrow we shall see;
