It will become worse for the Ksh since all indications show no sign of relief in the near future.

Pundit, sell your US$ under the table. Many people willing to exchange for Ksh without using the official routes. Look for people who need to pay college fees for their kids in the US. They are desparate.

Njoroge has always tried to control the floods, but at some point it may become impossible. Better to have a managed flow than trying to block the slide.

We will have to wait till May or June before the new deputy at CBK takes over before we see any improvement. She is a very competent manager. She made a very good impression when being interviewed by the control panel. :o

The best to buy dollars from is Absa bank, they are selling them at 141.7 today some hours ago.,.
You can have a dollar account giving you 3% annually. If you want to sell your dollars, sell them to forex bureaus, they buy at 138 unlike absa which buys at 123.

1) With the most G7 countries raising interest rates,
2) china economy slow economic growth rate,
3) Ukraine Russian war causing increase in commodity prices,
4) Deals between major oil producing countries to cap oil prices,
5) Eurobond due,

The shilling is headed to 160-170.Raila will put pressure through mass action and destroy the economy until ruto surrenders.

soon bread will cost 100,unga 300,fuel 200.REVOLUTION

All emerging markets will see significant adjustment.
Ghana and Zambia are already in trouble. Nigeria is next. Kenya maybe too.
