Title: Very timely - KRA suspend all tax reliefs - tax relief killing kenya

Everyone setting up in SEZ/EPZ - to evade all taxes.

I read tax exemption and waivers run into 300B per annum.

Despite the muddy waters we are in, such blanket suspensions are a landmine. Deserving cases suffer. What happens to duty free maize imports for drought, for instance??

Pursue those who abuse the system and penalize them!

The target is Northlands Tatu city and EPZs owners by people related to Moi Kibaki and Kenyatta.

Suspend them kabisaaa. Kenyatta stuff it's not too hard to find illegality and penalize them....

we need proper law and regulations to vet all the cases. It should not be left to minister or kra discretions. And all exemptions should be published as per article 201 or 210.

Let KRA monthly publish list of all exemptions and money involved.

Go after Uhuru, Rai the Indian front of Uhuru and Moi, investigate Rubis oil (Uhuru) for causing shortages in the oil industry and illegal subsidies paid to them, crash it . Rubis is Uhurus company  to clean his illegal kickbacks.

Uhuru damaged the country - it cant be damaged anymore; it bankrupt. Ruto has to rescue it using unorthodoxy methods otherwise we will be in IMF straightjacket for years.

Cant be struggling to collect taxes while KRA is cashing out 120B - and excusing 360B.

The fugitive KRA Chariman is out of order. Is it in line of his duties to micro manage the organisation?

Btw, did he settle his personal case with KRA? I hope he paid his dues for the billions of contracts he received from the Nairobi County.

Why appoint someone who is a criminal or has questionable character??
The cost of living will definiteyl go up another 25% in the next three mos.
Suspending this payments will lead businesses to pass costs directly.
Many people dont have any fall back.

Scrap those SEZ unless it's export zones.Kenyatta turn his empty plot with brookside into sez to unfairly compete then locked out cheaper Uganda milk.Now every company want to become SEZ. SEZ if you're not exporting is nonsense

Mwaura should continue to wreck havoc until new kra commissioner with steel balls and Ruto 100 percent support is appointed. Kra need total overhaul...the acting MD cannot fix it.They need tiger there..
