SK Macharia was always on Raila's side even when he was being opposed by the government. Any media house that is not pro government will be popular in Kenya since the regime cannot deliver on its promises. Citizen Tv will survive Ruto's regime.

He will be okay but he will forget dominating mainstream media...he put his eggs on one basket..so will lose gov contracts and some licenses.What I want parliament to do is enact ownership regulation disallowing another macharia... nobody should own more than 15 percent of mainstream media...it makes our democracy dysfunctional because macharia has powerful influence .. just like we don't allow bank ownership of certain percentage....you can't allow dynasties to rise up n make nonsense of democracy.No Murdoch empire

lol no one is going to open new TV stations. the market is saturated and has no room for growth. Macharia will unwind his businesses slowly and go to eac market. he is way ahead of nation and ktn. ktn went from a leader to the biggest loser now ntv is dying slowly ..macharia adopts and knows when to change tact. him being a private company gives him a lot ability to make quick decisions
