They go to the Middle East because Kenyans are weak and stupid. Even when someone loots the Kenyan treasury and makes many Kenyans desperate, Kenyans still vote for them, if they're from the same tribe. Some will even devote endless hours right here on this forum, farting day and night, about how some of these same thieves would make great presidents for Kenya. Be careful: They might run here and start pounding their chests (gorilla style), shouting ati "I'm a proud member of this or that tribe!" They will even threaten dire consequences for your tribe if you do not vote for their tribal hero. It will start with your cow getting stolen then it will get worse. This is serious stuff. Be warned!

With very little opportunity at home, many see working in Arab countries as a ticket out of poverty in a country where about 40% of the population lives below the poverty line.

At least 100,000 Kenyans work in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, most as domestic workers or doing other menial jobs.

Amnesty International says workers in the Middle East often complain of a lack of payment for their work, forced labor, physical abuse, rape, and dangerous working conditions.

Spot on. It is even sadder that he was advocating for the maid/neo Arab slave trade as solution for the unemployment problem. Bomet was talking about exporting tea to Iran. Avoid Arabs & Persians like the plague, deeply racist anti black people. Iran is also under sanctions from the US so it is not good idea.

Blacks are unloved around the world, the only place they are safe is in their own countries, even that is not guaranteed because their leaders are determined to render them slaves of China.

She says, the boss came and told me that as long as I agreed to travel to their country, I must do each and every chore. He said, I would not have the right to complain. They had paid a lot of money to buy me. I was therefore their property,” Murunga said.

During her two years of service in Saudi Arabia, Murunga suffered both emotional and physical abuse at the hands of her employer, until a good Samaritan came to her aid and facilitated her return to Kenya.

Back home, she received help from Haart Kenya, an organization that fights human trafficking and helps people like Faith.

Since Haart Kenya was formed in 2010, the organization has helped more than 700 survivors of forced labor who have come home scarred.
