Kenya elections are won through 1) Proven track record of Maendeleo/progress/ideas/agenda - entry point/the starter-- 2) Money -the oil to lubricate all the parts - and 3) Propaganda- Euphoria/Momentum/Sweet nothings/Ethnic mobilisation - this the petrol to get moving.
Once you have the starter - the engine oil - and the petrol - and vehicle (of course - UDA) - ni kuhama! If you dont bring the complete package - you'll not go far.

No where in Africa are election as expensive as kenya - other countries do not have these kind of harambee politics..though Museveni is learning from Kenya.
