Good documentary - explains Caste system

What a terrible system. This explains why open defecation is a thing in India. I have gotten two opportunities to travel to India but I turned both down. I cannot go there

Caste systems are all over. Under capitalism it is usually with amount money, where you went school to, with whom? and all sort of systemic castes.

Yes it is a very objective documentary. Nothing gross or over the top

Hindu Casteism is really the ancient apartheid system instituted by the Aryans over the darker skinned Dravidian indigenous people of India. Very thorough hate system, it has to be the most evil system.

extended interview.. This lady believes that Caste system can only be defeated via a total remaking of the India economic system via popular revolution. I tend to agree. She articulates that this social system does serve India economic system. 75% of Indians live in rural areas and she states that most of the land is owned by Landlords and the Dalits provide cheap reliable labor. with ongoing rapid urbanization I tend to think that the system will eventually collapse



It is a really fucked up system. The Hindu even labelled tribal natives land owners as untouchables and tool their land. She states that there have been about 450K suicides by farmers from lower castes due to conditions imposed by this social structure

The Maoists Apparently the have a presence in 1/3 of the country.. The Dalits should just join them and take on the Aryans

Yes. Hindus are timid and weak vegetarians. If Dalits take a leaf from Taliban and become militant & suicidal they can prevail.
