Those are just the motions to insulate themselves from loosing their seats. Raila's ODM lost Coast Mps long before the handshake. He lost them when during the sharing of parliamentary seats he forget about them. ODM essentially was part of LUOS+MIJIKENDA+OTHERS(Mostly Busia & Kakamega). How you can forget to reward Mijikenda with the tail is classic Railasque. Raila think coast is Joho. Now Dori & Aisha pulled out with nearly 20Mps to Ruto side - leaving Raila & Joho with 5 mps :) :). The beneficiary was Ruto. The same story is repeated in Bukusu land. Raila goes for the very little post Wetangula had - and gives to Orengo (optis - from siaya luo nyanza) - now the entire Bukusu land is moving lock & step with Ruto. Raila reminded Bukusu about what Luos did to Wamalwa. I pity the resident Bukusu idiot here - because he will be left with Sifuna with ODM in Bukusu land. Eugene Wamalwa is already sulking seeing his prospect of governship of Transzoia evaporates - as Wetangula supplant him in Jubilee.

I think the next battle for Ruto is really in Gusii. At least half of Luhyaland (Bungoma+Kakamega -- Ruto can let MaDVD keep Vihiga and Raila can have Busia) and Coast are already on board.

WSR may end up winning with 65% of the vote in 2022
