Taking a stand: sorry Veri, not ur fault
« on: September 11, 2014, 07:14:36 AM »
As a staunch Christian I find it very offensive that a Church of Satan logo is prominently displayed by a member's avatar every time I want to read updated posts. I've tried to ignore it to no avail. Those of you who have no concept of religious symbols will miss the gist but rather than engage the forum in another brawl over religion I'll bow out and let those who wish to display abominable symbols have their freedom of expression. Nothing personal but Christianity is central force of my life.

Good luck everyone.

Queen dearest,

Are you next going to bow out because some of us are strong atheists?  I hope not.  You know you can disable avatars.  Right?

Which symbol is that? I find your post a bit of hypocritical: You kept huge ugly blubbers at .com for a very long time and did not accept or listen to pleas to take it down. Now something obscure bothers you and expect what?

I'm not sure which avatar you've talking about? Can you direct me to a link? Do you mean the topless flabby avatar? I've asked him to put some clothes.

This is now becoming a joke.....The forum is a place where everyone has the right to express themselves freely and unless someone is infringing on those rights or it exposes the forum to adsense bans like nudity etc, it would be impossible to cater to everyones needs....after all there is a button to diable avatars.

It's not me Veri - I don' think Brynn Considers my dressing that bad. Furthermore, you've put some cloths on me. Thanks for the gift

George, hope all is well on your end with you and yours. I've left the building. Ultimately Veritas will have to decide if she wants to decorate her building with key symbols of the occult. I want a part of none of that and I'm not arguing/preventing anyone. I just choose not to surround myself with that type of energy.

Brynn, I thought you were above this. If it isn't porn, then I just don't think it would be right for me to dictate people's beliefs and customs. You may want to ask RVP yourself by private message that you aren't cool with his avatar.

Veritas

There are certain netters I never interact with. Even referring to them in second person is bad enough. Consider the case closed.
