Let's Pray
« on: January 11, 2015, 10:51:34 AM »
Good Morning church,
Let's do some Christmas message.

Matthew 2:1-3 (KJV)
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

When Herod heard that a king was born, he was terrified. He felt threatened, what if this king dethroned him, what if he Judaea gravitated towards him more than him? What if he suddenly ceased being the centre of attraction/attention?

Note that the newborn's star was seen from very far. The wise men took at least two years to get to Judea. This morning I pray that your star will shine from far and draw men to you. May your greatness speak for you in Jesus name.

Note too that nothing could hide the star. Not clouds, nothing.
Your star shall not be hid by nothing in Jesus name!

Please observe that the new born King did not call himself thus, it was wise men from the East. It is when men speak highly of you that you attract envy and hate. It is when Movie critics recognized Lupita's star that hate started. Some people can't wait for her to fail, descend into drugs, broken relationships and so forth. They so want her to fail!

May your Greatness trouble your enemies today in Jesus name!

Shalom and have a super blessed Lord's Day

And now, let's worship the King of Kings. We were created to make His Praise glorious

2 Timothy 2:4  No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
