Let's Pray
« on: November 02, 2014, 09:53:44 AM »
Good morning church,
 Today I want us to look at these verses.
Ephesians 5:18-19 (KJV)
 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Colossians 3:16 (KJV)
 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord

So all vooke desires of each of us is to praise Jesus.
Acts 16:25 (ESV)
25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them

We see Paul practicing what he preached; praising God while in prison and probably on death row. You should praise Him in ALL circumstances and not just when it feels 'right'

This is why I always make a point of sharing these songs to provoke some praise out of you. HillSong can't praise for you, not can Muhando. At best they can only LEAD you into praising. Amen

Have a blessed Lord's Day as we worship Him in the beauty of His holiness

2 Timothy 2:4  No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
