So it is with this we can conclude without malice that communision is what held Chinese back. From 1949 to 1978 ccp under Mao held the economic growth back. After liberalization in 1978 the Chinese economy started to thrive and more people started to do well. Therefore China has developed inspite not because of communism. Xi now is trying to roll back free markets but it is the wrong move. A fre China is prosperous China

China and propaganda are on another level. On the flip side, there are 300 million Chinese living in Uganda/South Sudan/central Africa poverty level. Actually, over 200 million Chinese people are earning less than $2 a day; that is why you see Chinese migrating out of china in droves yearly to even poor countries in Africa. 600 million others earn under $140 a month (Danxu, 2020). If China was a place to be, China's diaspora, like the American diaspora, would be tiny and withering yearly because folk would want to remain in the thriving heartland.

Propoganda is ccp's greatest asset. They make have been able to make everyone believe that communism gets things done. They take any statistic and spin it.

My friend, read history ya huko, please. You really think between 300 years ago and today, only Communism happened in China? What do you think gave fuel to the rise of Communism over there to begin with?

China was TOTALLY raped by the Japanese, the British, the Portuguese among others. Why do you think they count Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan as theirs? These were ripped off during colonization. Please read about the opium wars. Just Google "opium wars." The Brits literally rained blows on them (war) when they refused to take in more opium which was destroying their population; forced them to buy the drugs through war, wapende wasipende. Read the Hilter-level madness the Japanese visited upon them. This is why Japan is more hated in China than any country.

The thing that allowed communism to gain traction in the first place was the incredible suffering and humiliation they experienced over the course of a century, mainly at the hands of foreigners. This century is even called the century of humiliation or something in China.

And propaganda? Absolutely NO ONE beats the Americans in propaganda. Nobody. They have turned the whole world anti-China in two/three short years. The American political machine is the deadliest propaganda mill in the world, precisely because it is so effective at manufacturing consent for all types of shenanigans like unnecessary wars.

Communists were hiding in Mao province while Nationalists fought the and drove the Japanese out. After Ww
WII Mao used the economic problems to incite people against Nationalists. They fought and most just gave up and ran to Taiwan. Japan and Taiwan choose free markets. Mao aligned himself with ussr. He borrowed heavily from them. By 1960s Mao was the most hated man but feared in China. He died shunned by even his close allies. After his death ccp elevated him to a godly status. If Mao would have adopted market economy China would have been more prosperous than Japan and by the 70s they would have caught up to 🇺🇸

I agree with you that china after the dynasties fell was taken advantage by imperialism. However, my point is that communist party has delayed Chinese from attaining their economic prosperity. The people in Taiwan are Chinese. They were in the trenches with some of Mao era people fighting the Japanese invasion. Mao just outsmarted them by laying low waiting them to do the hard work of fighting Japanese and he showed up and started a civil war
