Sudan has more pyramids than Egypt

Funny I learnt this from a Jewish manager who had toured north Africa. While in Egypt someone mentioned about the Sudan pyramids and he went to check them out. He told there were 9ft statutes of giant men in that area. I guess it was a ploy to warn any conquering force that there giants ahead

Egypt or Sudan are new constructs. They didnt exist before. I'd say the Nile civilisation ended in the huge sud swamp - that was/is impenetrable. Sudan swamp that start in Jubas runs nearly 200 kilometres - where nile disappears into impossible to navigate lybranith - as waters enters a huge flood plain - and that kept south sudan - and east africa in the dark.

As for pyramids they were really a Nubian thing - not Arab thing
