Electorates should be donating to politicians and not the other way round. Americans pour money into your campaign if your ideas, integrity, and likability is up there in the US. Kenyan voters need to learn to donate to candidates to keep the same rich folks from running circles on us.

It's no joke - even MP or MCA requires a lot of money. Yes we need to change financing model. Politician also need to be person of integrity and to deliver. If they work hard - Kenyans will re-elect them as they have done - and maybe even contribute money.

Surely why would someone vote 1) Dying Jaramogi who mostly senile 2) a mad Matiba who had a problem even talking?
Moi saved Kenya in 1992 from descending into big problems.
Imagine if Ken Matiba had won - and he was practical mentally incapacitated - stroke damaged Matiba - from the great leader he was - to the cabbage he became - and some folks took advantage to bankrupt his business.

1992 best candidate was Kibaki. Next was Moi.

1997 - again best candidate was Kibaki.

It is good ruto is not going outside Kenya. We may for once get a crisp revolutionary mwafrika leader the likes of sankara, lumumba, samora, mandela in their best days working for afrika.
