I saw a tik tok from some luo lady that was explaining that African clock is different from European

Seven = moja
Eight = Mailing
Nine = Tatu
Ten = nne

Same thing with map. The south on European map is actual north according to African archives

Africa time was that way I before european.
We have regular night and day time regulated by the sun unlike Europe that varies depending on the season.
So keep things simple...we start from 7 am when sun is up...which to us is 1st hour (Moja)
