At least we won't be disappointed in this arena. Rugby, Kenya simply had no business being on that field. They looked completely out of place.

That was insane. She smashed the world record by 14 seconds. Lets hope it was all clean.

Men’s 10,000 meters final today: The Kenyan men better run at a world record style race pace or let me say, “go out at a suicidal pace” and hope Mo Farah can hang on if they want to make the podium tonight. They will lose a 400m sprint if they don’t.

Ivory Coast's Ta Lou robbed of bronze if not silver in the 100m. She is in the first lane.

Congratulations to Jemima Sumgong for her great win. First Kenyan woman to win an Olympic marathon gold medal. Plus a great show by South Africa's Wayde Van Niekerk tonight. He just obliterated Michael Johnson 400 meters world record.

South Africans are discovering they have a sprint reservoir. They already now have all the continental sprint records. Van Niekerk is a nut. 400m is a tough race.

Harun Koech just won his heat. The guy looks like Nicholas Bett who fumbled. Are they related?

They are twins.

Yep, I discovered. Looks like the twin will take over from where the brother left off. Bett has simply not been able to reproduce the form he had in the World championship.

King David delivered again. He defended his Olympic gold to remain the king of 800 meters.
