Even quarries are now transitioning into cement production.
From 2M tonnes less than 10yrs ago...we are now producing nearly 6M tonnes of cement. I'm not sure what our per capita cement consumption is but last I checked it was about 80Kg..or 2 bags..while RSA or Egypt were doing 350-500kgs or 10 bags per person per year of cement poured ..which is also the world average.
There is lot of scope for growth.
