As much as I hate to see the raise implemented, I am also on the side of law. The contract was negotiated, signed but never implemented. They govt has fought tooth and nail to see that it does not pay. Its taken almost a generation to get to this. They managed to find money for an illegal enterprise like anglo-leasing but not the teachers. If taxes have to go up so be it. Respect the law and pay these teachers. We need a functioning public education system.
