I think even without bribery, if the allegation of what he did is true, he will get impeached, and political supremacy in Central will dilute the votes. UDA will likely be left with 25%, but if a stronger Kingpin (Sad Kenyan politics) emerge, Gachagua maybe able to sell his 50-60% to opposition (Kalonzo/Kioni). I don't think Gachagua and Ruto will see eye to eye from the things I have heard from trusted sources, but in Kenya anything is possible!

For the Gachagua and Ruto and Raila is just politics ,
People tend to forget Raila took Uhuru and Ruto to Hague and he later did handshake and broadbased Govt.
Gachagua is Rutos making , I personally dont think he did anything to Ruto which would warant an impeachment . Having said that he is taking this jmpeachment motion either real or fabricated to his advantage . Now will he be the beneficiary of the fallout certainly not .
The way I know politics is that even if he backs Ruto in 2027 still Ruto will be No 3 come 2027.Raila no 2, soon we will know who will be No 1.

Kalonzo should hold his ground this time. I see a light at the end of his tunnel. If it comes down to Raila, Kalonzo and Ruto, no one gets the 50+1, it will be a runoff between Kalonzo and Raila, that's a huge toss-up. I wish all of them would disappear but I also have to be realistic about the reality of the nothing politics in Kenya. For me, I will go with anything that sends Ruto home which will be a huge leap in Kenyan politics, show these idiots that they are not indispensable.

In Kenyan politics, it is very hard to beat someone with billions. I think Ruto may still pull a win despite the challenges. If he beat Government, Uhuru, Raila, combined civil society, and media in the last election, it will be hard to beat him if Government, Uhuru, and Raila, will be on his side in 2027. A lot of alignment and ealignment will occur by then, but I think by 2026 everything will be aligned in Ruto's favor. 50% of Gen Z will likely be on his side, as will Kalonzo and the rest of the weak links. Like I said, the opponents will need at least 1-2 trillion to mount a credible campaign. Morara Kebaso and many of Ruto's decoy Gen Z Leutenants will take a lot of dough from Kenyans, then in 2026-2027 they will disappear like mist! Politics in Kenya ni tricky sana!

The Kikuyu unwarranted hate for Uhuru is what won the election, 2027 is different, he has a collapsing economy, genz, and the loss of Gema to deal with. I highly doubt Raila will tosha him after losing AU, he has the incumbency which is always an advantage but manipulating the election will leave Kenya in a very bad place.

The line that Big G was disrupting Gen Z protesting is sensible rather than that they organized. Does this make the coup narrative hero?
