At the conclusion of our 2017 elections,including petitions,Kenya will have lost over Kshs 100billion.A very big sum.Democracy is expensive.

He should say sham elections(not democracy) are expensive in a place where they are not allowed.

The law should ensure there is a price to pay for not complying with rules of the game - like ceding winning to the second person, or the cheater does not run for two sessions. You'll see how fast they'll comply with election laws.
